Be a resident in one of Byte Back’s service areas - Washington, DC area or Baltimore

Have a genuine desire to learn new technical skills and advance your career

Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Be unemployed or underemployed (earning an average minimum wage or less in your service area)

Class Description
Manage office tasks like a boss. Our Microsoft Office Specialist, Word course is a deep dive into everything Word can do in a work environment. You’ll learn to create, manage, and format documents. After this class, you’ll be prepared to pass the Microsoft Office Specialist, Word certification exam.

Get ready to use Excel on the job. Our Microsoft Office Specialist, Excel course helps students master one of the most commonly used professional programs. Throughout the class, students will observe, learn, and practice key Excel skills in preparation to pass the Microsoft Office Specialist, Excel exam.
