Mr. Gross is a nationally recognized digital equity advocate. Presently, he holds the esteemed position of President and CEO at K-Necting, a Digital Millennial Consulting Company. Over the course of the past three years, Mr. Gross has collaborated closely with state and local governments to address and bridge the digital homework gap actively.

One of Mr. Gross’s most noteworthy accomplishments was his pivotal role as the spearhead for Baltimore City Schools at the onset of the pandemic. His strategic leadership ensured that every student had equitable access to essential devices and connectivity. Under his stewardship, an impressive 20,000 hotspots and over 50,000 laptops were swiftly distributed, empowering countless Baltimore families with the gift of connectivity. Mr. Gross remains steadfast in his commitment to collaborating with educational institutions and local governments, diligently devising long-term, sustainable broadband solutions that transcend mere temporary fixes.

Beyond his pioneering work in digital equity, Mr. Gross has dedicated his career to harnessing technology as a catalyst to address the glaring deficit in math and science skills within the United States. His groundbreaking initiative, Project K-Nect, stands as a testament to his vision and innovation. It was the inaugural mobile learning program in the United States specifically tailored to provide underserved students with access to both cutting-edge devices and specialized curricula in the fields of mathematics and science.

Mr. Gross boasts a wealth of experience spanning both the public and private sectors. In the public arena, he has served as a legislative aide in the United States Senate and held the position of senior education policy advisor. In the private sector, he has lent his expertise to renowned organizations such as Sun Microsystems and Apple Computer, contributing significantly to product development, project management, and government relations in the K-12 market.

Mr. Gross earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from The Ohio State University and further distinguished himself by obtaining both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Public Policy and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh.
