Scott earned his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from The University of Virginia in 2010. After working as an application engineer and account manager for National Instruments in Austin, TX for five years, he moved back to the DC area where he grew up.
As an account manager at ANSYS, Scott aims to understand customers, their market, and how to help them overcome their biggest challenges. In his position, Scott uses knowledge of the space, defense, intelligence, communications, and scientific research markets to support and challenge customers to work smarter.
Scott joined the Byte Back Board in 2017. As an engineer, he’s passionate about making the world a better place through technology. He finds Byte Back students inspiring and it’s his goal as a Board member to apply his passion to ensure Byte Back continues to create opportunities for community members to improve their own lives.
