DC Community Tech Day Volunteer Presenter

Are you a techie, business expert, or career wiz?

Byte Back’s annual DC Community Tech Day is coming! This year, we’re hosting the day during National Digital Inclusion Week to celebrate inclusion, equity, and opportunity in tech. Our students, alumni, and other community members are invited to attend to gain skills and explore career possibilities in tech.

Wednesday, October 9, 2019
10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Byte Back, 899 North Capitol Street NE, Suite 850
Washington, DC 20002

Volunteer to present a workshop!

Sessions are 45 minutes long and may be done with a co-presenter. Most sessions will be in computer labs and should be interactive, though there are some slots for sessions without computers, which can be more focused on career advice and inspiration.

Watch our past DC Community Tech Day to get a feel for the room:

Past sessions include:

  • What’s a Hackathon?
  • The Vocabulary of an IT Professional
  • What Makes a Website a Website?
  • Positioning Yourself for a Career in IT

Sessions should be accessible to people with any tech skill level.
