Who should take this class?

  • DC residents
  • Ages 18 to 108
  • Those who can pass a basic assessment of computer skills
  • Students wishing to work in entry level administrative or secretarial positions OR …
  • Those who want to build a strong base of knowledge to take advanced certification classes

Office Track graduates (students who complete the course) are recognized at a graduation ceremony and receive a certificate.

Students will: Acquire intermediate skills in Microsoft Office 2010 – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Prerequisite: Completion of PC for Beginners or successful completion of an assessment
Duration: 48 hours (three weeks, six weeks, or 12 weeks)
Class Length: Two- or four-hour classes, two or four days per week
Cost: Free to DC residents with a qualifying low-income ($1,200 value, class values are based on estimated costs at for-profit educational institutions)

To Register: Registration is usually held in pereson six times per year.
